Colorado Springs’ first El Pollo Loco has announced its opening date, and it’s
coming up quick. In addition, it was mentioned in the news that the restaurant
chain announced on Facebook that its new location on East Fillmore Street east
of Nevada Avenue would open on October 1, 1980. Then, the chain announced it
would be moving in to an old KFC location on Fillmore back in May. Currently,
there are only two El Pollo Loco locations in our state–on in Denver and
another in Arvada. Lastly, the new Colorado Springs location is at 825 E.
Fillmore Street.
